Time has come for the celebration of Kerala’s popular festival Vishu. Vishu is a hindu festival celebrated by the malayali people in the month of April. Vishu Kani, bursting fireworks and Vishu Sadya are the three important things of vishu festival. People of kerala setup vishu kani to view in the early morning of Vishu.
Vishu kani is prepared by arranging fruits, vegetables, gold coins, silver coins in a Uruli (a vessel). Kani konna (flower) and the Sree krishna idol are placed along with the uruli. After watching vishu kani people burst fireworks and in the noon delicious vishu sadya is prepared. Kerala people send their vishu wishes, greetings, and messages to the relatives and friends on the festive day.
