The 3rd Vijay Television Awards was held on Saturday, 6 May 2017 at Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. The gates were open at 5.00 PM and the show started from 6.00 PM onwards. Vijay Television Awards is an annual award event which honors the talented artists and shows of Vijay Television.
The favorite serial award has won by Saravanan Meenatchi. Amit Bhargav (Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai) has won the best actor award and Rachitha Mahalakshmi has won the best actress award. Chavi Sharma(Neeli) has won the best child artist Award. The Vijay Television Awards 2017 will telecast on Star Vijay TV on 21st and 28th May at 3.00 PM.
